Blue & Green Plaid Dress

Two years ago I got a red plaid dress that I shared on the blog on Thanksgiving or around Thanksgiving time – I can’t quite remember but I wrote about it (here).  That dress is really comfortable, but the one I’m sharing today is even more comfortable if that’s possible! Why? Because it is made of a super soft material – like a thin flannel almost.

Dress: Gap + Pendleton via Gap | Tights: American Eagle | Boots: DSW | Watch: Fossil | Coat: J.Crew

This dress is part of the Gap and Pendleton collaboration. So I already talked about how soft this dress is but now let’s talk about the color. As much as I love red plaid – and if you ever do a search for “red plaid” on my home page you’ll see quite a few results – I just love the blue and green so much! Two of my favorite colors going together so well. I wore charcoal grey tights, black slouchy boots, and my Fossil watch for a tiny bit of sparkle to complete the look for work. Oh and my navy blue pea coat to keep warm outside  – happy coincidence that it matches my dress perfectly.

As much as I love this look with black boots for work, looking back on these photos now I’m thinking this dress would look great with rain boots too! Maybe I’ll wear this dress again on the next rainy day.
