Touches of Gold
Snow day! We thought we were in the clear for spring and just like that a blizzard makes its way to us. I just hope I won’t be snowed in for long.
I’ve mentioned it on here before, but in recent years I’ve taken a liking to gold – yellow gold to be exact. For most of my teen years and 20s I liked white gold and silver more because I felt yellow gold was too flashy and bright. But I really like yellow gold now. This look I’m sharing today isn’t all about jewelry at all actually, but I felt my love for yellow gold now was worth mentioning. I recently felt like wearing this cropped sweater I have with a pretty gold thread that runs through the checked design. I knew I wanted to accessorize it with my new gold stack ring from Baublebar. And so this look came together with a white long sleeve tee underneath the sweater, jeans, and brown slouchy boots.

Sweater: Abercrombie & Fitch | Jeans: Kohl’s | Boots: DSW | Ring: Baublebar
This sweater is a few years old and still in great condition. It’s very thin and with all the holes I had to wear a long sleeve underneath because it was pretty chilly out. For some reason the sleeves on this sweater are ridiculously long. Like, comically long. I have to fold them up twice! If I left them alone they would probably come down to halfway down my thighs.
I love the touches of gold in this look! Such a warm and stylish outfit once it’s all pulled together.
