White Floral Shift Dress
Happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed my Cape Cod vacation posts this past week. I’ll be posting a few short videos soon of highlights of my trip on my YouTube channel. In fact, I should be working on the first one today so it will hopefully go live tomorrow and I can post it on here! Onto today’s post though – I titled this post White Floral Shift Dress, but I really could’ve named it “Garden Print Dress” as I think it is a little less flowery and more plant-y, plus it’s got birds on it. But I’ve already named my picture files and it’s really not that big of a deal so it is what it is!
I bought this shift dress during the same 50% off sale that I bought my bell sleeved, dark floral dress with lace detailing that I love so much. This dress is much more day-time appropriate and while I really like it, I still love the black dress more. Shift dresses are always nice, but they’re never as figure friendly as other styles since it is literally straight up and down. So while shift dresses like this one are really pretty, they don’t really do anything to enhance your shape or anything .
Dress: New York & Company | Shoes: Aldo | Watch: Fossil
I wore this dress (and took pictures) on the last day of work before summer break. It seemed like the perfect dress to wear to work to signify the start of summer!
