Lorac – Beauty & the Beast
I’ve been pretty good lately about not getting all the limited edition items I want, but when Lorac came out with the Beauty & the Beast collection I really wanted to get my hands on it since it is one of my favorite Disney movies ever. I got the eye palette, cheek palette, and lip glosses. I didn’t get the lipsticks because I didn’t want to go too overboard, plus if I have to choose between glosses and lipsticks, I’d pick glosses.
I’ve been using these products this past week and I’ve been really liking them. The quality is great, as I’ve come to expect with the brand, and I love the range of looks I can achieve with them. If you know me or have been following me for a while you’ll know I opt for a natural look so I was really happy to see I could create a natural, glowy look without much effort at all using this collection.
For this look I’m wearing a Tarte foundation and Covergirl + Olay concealer, a bareMinerals luminizer, plus mascara and brow product that are not Lorac. Everything else is from the collection. For blush I chose “Rose” (the shade all the way to the left). I used the bronzer in the cheek palette, “Fearless”. For my eyes, I used “Tick Tock” all over the lid, “Impress” in the outer v and crease, “Enchanting” in the center of my lids for a little shimmer, and “Chip In” for the brow bone. The gloss I used was “True Beauty”.
Is this collection totally necessary? No, it’s nothing revolutionary or shades that you couldn’t find elsewhere/don’t already have probably. But I’m happy with it and I don’t regret the purchase so it’s a win for me!
