Happy Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend and for those of you in Florida, I hope you’re all safe and well.
Today I’m sharing a summer dress that I wore back in the height of the hot summer days back at the beginning of August. This beautiful blue/purple dress with a crochet top has rows of colors that remind me of a rainbow. It is flowy and perfect for those really hot days when you want to wear loose clothing and wear as little clothing as possible without being too revealing.
Dress: Aerie | Sunglasses: Quay Australia | Flip Flops: Old Navy
I just love the colors in the crochet top! They go perfectly with this blue/purple/indigo dress. The straps are adjustable as they pull like a halter, criss-cross in the back, and ties at top of the back of the dress at mid-back.
Although I’m calling this a maxi dress, this dress was actually listed as a midi dress and I don’t see how it can possibly be a midi dress. I know I’m short, but there’s no way this dress which comes to my ankles could be a midi dress on someone else. The dress is an empire waist and while I have a short torso I do have long legs and I can’t imagine this dress being inches shorter on someone of more average height. It just doesn’t seem possible!
Whether it’s a midi or maxi, I really love this dress!
