Balsamic & Honey Cabbage Steaks
Weekends always go by way too fast and if you can believe it, next Sunday is already Easter. Last year I decorated Easter eggs with Flash Tattoos and I’m not sure if I’m going to do any eggs this year, but I am sharing a recipe that you could serve at your Easter dinner! I saw a recipe for Balsamic & Honey Roasted Cabbage Steaks on Pinterest a while ago. I pretty much stuck to the recipe so click above for the recipe!
I washed a head of cabbage and sliced it up in about 1/2 inch slices. Then, I made the balsamic and honey mix to brush on to the cabbage. It’s a mix of olive oil, honey, and balsamic vinegar. Brush the cabbage rounds with the mix and season with salt and pepper. Roast the cabbage until tender and golden, about 25-30 minutes.
These cabbage steaks are something a little different for a side, but delicious and healthy! They are so easy to make and would be a great vegetable side for Easter or any dinner.
