Marled Swing Dress + Bow Belt
Today’s my last day of work before spring break! I don’t have any big plans for it, but I’m really excited to sleep in!
Today I have a dress down day at work meaning I can wear jeans so I’ll share that look next week, but today I’m sharing a marled swing dress that I wore to work a little earlier this month. I love swing dresses because they’re perfect for work since they’re comfortable and not fitted. This marled swing dress with puckered shoulders is nice and soft and a little looser than I’m used to for swing dresses, so I decided to belt it at the waist to make it more figure flattering. I wore a belt that I’ve had for a long time – a bow buckle belt, which I think worked perfectly with this dress.
Dress: LOFT | Tights: Macy’s | Boots: DSW
My belt is really old and I don’t remember where I got it so I can’t list it above. But, I think it worked so well with this dress. Cinching the waist was a really good idea for this dress and the black and silver with rhinestones of the belt really matched well with the marled fabric.
I wore black tights and black booties with the dress and really liked the finished look!
