I love sweater tanks. They are the perfect transition pieces. Sleeveless for those warm days, but thicker since we’re not at the height of summer. Sweater tanks normally are more conservative too so if you can wear sleeveless tops to work they’re a great option!
Early in the summer I was at LOFT and I saw the cutest white sweater tank with eyelet trim. And you know I love eyelet. But it was full price and I didn’t have my LOFT card on me. Hazards of switching to a smaller bag when I go out sometimes. I suppose I could’ve just had the cashier look up my account, but I decided to save money and not get it. Fast forward to the end of summer and I was browsing the LOFT website during one of their sales. The top that I had loved in-store was on clearance and they still had my size (small for reference)!
I wore the top with dark grey pants and light grey slip ons over the weekend. It ended up being a lot warmer that day than I had anticipated – the sun was shining and it was humid out. Luckily, this sweater tank is pretty lightweight. The knit is thin and breathable and so I wasn’t baking in it walking around outside all afternoon at the outdoor outlets upstate.
Top: LOFT | Pants: Uniqlo | Shoes: Keds via DSW | Purse: Michael Kors | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
The eyelet trim is the perfect detail. I think it’s the perfect width and gives the illusion of layering.
I love this easy look. So stylish but comfortable which is my go-to style!
