Green Corset Waist Sweater Dress
How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy and if you follow my Instagram stories then you have an idea of how busy I was – plus I ended the weekend not feeling 100%. So this post is going to be quick (since I write my posts ahead of time almost all of the time) so I can get to bed and get a good night’s sleep! When this post goes live, hopefully I am feeling refreshed and ready to take on the new week!
I wore this green corset waist sweater dress to work last week and it is the perfect sweater dress for the holiday season. It is surprisingly thick so it will keep you warm in the winter – just wear it with tights like I did! The sleeves are fitted but then have ribbed detailing at the forearm and from the wrists down they bell out. The sleeves are quite long on me, but I haven’t had time to get them shortened or anything so I’m just going with it. The corset waist is, obviously, adjustable, so you can tighten or loosen it to your preference. I think the corset waist trend can be hit or miss, but I love it in this sweater dress.

If you have been following my blog for a while then you probably know green is my favorite color – any shade of it. Well, most shades of it. This forest green is perfect for this time of year. I loved pairing it with dark grey tights and black booties. I opted for grey tights so as to not have it so dark with dark green, black tights, and black boots. I wanted to break it up a little bit and I love the way it turned out!
