Oscars 2020 Red Carpet Picks
Did you watch the Oscars last night? I was half watching all night as I’m still sick. I’m hoping to get back to work tomorrow as being out of work is always more work than going. Anyway, I didn’t see any red carpet looks that absolutely wow’ed me, but I did pick out a few that I really liked.
I’m always a sucker for grecian looks andΒ Salma Hayek looked fabulous in this white gown with draping over her left shoulder and gorgeous hair piece.

When I first sayΒ Natalie Portman‘s gown I thought it was beautiful, but wasn’t crazy about her cape. I was thinking it covered up the gorgeous black and gold detailing of the gown. Then, I found out that her cape is embroidered (see that gold detailing down the left hand side?) with the names of the female directors who were snubbed! So awesome.

Okay, I’m not crazy about the over the top statement sleeves onΒ Sandra Oh’s gown, but I absolutely love every other part of the dress, so let’s just pretend those huge puffs aren’t there.

I’m not really crazy about this color onΒ Mindy Kaling, but I love the design and cut of the gown and I think it looks really great on her!

This isn’t the most flattering photo ofΒ Brie Larson, but I love her gown and the attached cape. The all-over sequins is so beautifully done and the gown looks so elegant. I know in this photo it looks kind of beige in color, but when she was on stage it was actually a beautiful petal pink color!

Rita Wilson looked beautiful in this sparkly fringed column gown. An elegant and sophisticated gown for any age!

Gal Gadot’s gown is the perfect mix of sexy and elegant. Sheer black lace on top and light pink ball gown on the bottom! Love it!

Were there any looks you loved?
