Fair Isle Sweater + Beanie

I have the day off for President’s Day today and when this post goes live I’ll hopefully still be sleeping. I’m looking forward to not waking up to an alarm today. Both days this weekend I had things going on that required me to be up at a certain time. And although I had 2 sick days last week where I didn’t have to get up for work, I was sick with the flu so I wouldn’t exactly say having a fever for 4 days gave me much rest.

But anyway, I’m off and it’s supposed to be a pretty gorgeous day. Sunny and 50! That’s a far cry from the bitter cold that I experienced when taking these photos last month with Lauren! If you remember from my post about my Love, love, love sweatshirt I talked about how that day when we shot it was super windy and it was in the 20s. We took photos so fast because we were both freezing! For this outfit I wore a matching fair isle sweater and beanie with jeans and my Sorel boots from last winter (linking to similar). I absolutely love the colors in this fair isle design. It’s the prettiest blue/green/pink combo. I love the pattern and color combo so much that I got it in the sweater, beanie, as well as a matching scarf and pair of gloves. I didn’t wear the scarf and gloves here though because I thought that might be overkill!
