“August Slipped Away”

I’m doing another flashback Friday today and sharing this photo I snapped on a walk a few weeks ago. As I ducked under the branches of this big tree to continue walking, I saw the sunlight streaming through and thought it was so pretty.

I can’t believe August is over and Labor Day weekend is upon us. I can’t believe my students are already coming in on Tuesday!

Anyway, I thought Taylor Swift’s song “August” was perfect for this photo.
