Peloton

I’ve been wanting a peloton for a long time and I finally got one last month! Well, I ordered it earlier in the summer, but it took a while to arrive. I think they were backed up in production due to everyone getting bikes during quarantine.

I had it delivered to my parents’ basement since I don’t really have a spot for it to stay in my condo. I’m still getting used to the bike, but so far I’m loving it. I’ve been riding two times during the work week and on Saturdays and Sundays. I’ve also tried out a yoga class and a stretching class through the app. I did beginner and advanced beginner classes for 2-3 weeks and yesterday I tried a groove class for the first time. I’m really excited to try more themed rides now that I’ve got a bunch of beginner and advanced beginner classes under my belt. I think I might do a low impact class later today.

The hardest part so far has been unclipping my shoes! It’s been a good workout and I sweat every time and can feel it in my legs. Some of the advanced beginner classes I took incorporated arms too and then the groove class I took yesterday incorporated choreography, which was cool and different.

I joked with my friend that my goal is to become one of those girls who wears the two-piece matching workout sets and doesn’t have any fat bulging/love handles haha.

Anyway, overall I’m so glad I got it and I’ve been so motivated to work out. I’ll post an update later on in the year and let you all know how it’s going!
