November 2020 Favorites
It’s my first day back to work after a nice 5-day break for Thanksgiving and it’s the last day of November. I don’t know how tomorrow is December already.
For November, I have a handful of favorites.
First, as we all know the election took place at the beginning of the month and it’s no secret that I’m happy about the results. But, one of my favorites is the hilarious response Steve Kornacki got for his coverage of the election on MSNBC. If you know me, you know I watch MSNBC all the time and I’ve been a long time fan of Steve Kornacki, especially when he is at the big board breaking down the numbers. He was awake for days covering the election and all the numbers coming in from counties and states and the internet loved him, even calling him Twitter’s boyfriend. There was a such thing called “Steve Kornacki thirst tweets”! He made the sales of his khaki pants at Gap skyrocket!
Continuing on with the entertainment portion of my favorites, is the Supernatural series finale. To be clear, I didn’t love the actual finale, but I’m more celebrating the final season and 15 years of the show. It has been one of my favorite shows for 15 years and I’ll miss it. I was okay with the finale, knowing that no finale satisfies everyone. The more I thought about it, the less I liked it, but nonetheless I’m including it because it had a fantastic 15 season run. And by the way, I cried for the last 15 minutes of the episode!

My last entertainment favorite of the month was Taylor Swift’s Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions on Disney+. I’ve watched it twice! I’m a huge Taylor swift fan and this was so fun to listen to her, Jack Antonoff, and Aaron Dessner talk about the inspiration for the songs, how they went about writing them, and performing them in the Long Pond Studio.

My next favorite is the Healthish water bottles that I shared a few weeks ago. I’ve been loving to use them especially when I’m working out and to help me drink more water during the day.

A few months ago I got a slender bookcase for a corner of my living room. It was hard to find one. I found this one that I liked, but the one problem is that on each shelf there is one open side, meaning my books would fall off. So I needed book ends. There are a lot of pretty book ends, but I wanted something very slender so I would have as much room for books as possible. I found these honeycomb metal bookends on Etsy. I got them in grey and turquoise and I love them!

My last November favorite are an oldie but a goodie. My leaf and fall shaped pie crust cutters which I used to make my apple pie for Thanksgiving! My exact ones aren’t available anymore since they are a few years old, but I found some other ones and linked to them below.

Can you believe it’s going to be December tomorrow? What are some of your favorites lately?
