I can’t believe it’s Monday already. Weekends go by way too fast. I had a full weekend, but it wasn’t super busy and I got a decent amount of sleep both Friday and Saturday night so I don’t know why I was so tired all weekend! Anyway, I can’t believe it’s already Monday and I also don’t know how it’s October!?
I have a few favorites from September to share. I watched a lot of stuff on Netflix and Amazon in September for some reason. Amongst all the things my two favorites hands-down were Jack Ryan and To All the Boys I Loved Before. The new take on the Jack Ryan stories starring John Krasinski is so good. I really loved it and finished it in just a few days! The series is about Jack Ryan’s early days as a CIA analyst.
I heard so many people talk about how good To All the Boys I Loved Before and I wasn’t sure if it was going to be as good as people said it was. Let me tell you, it totally lived up to the hype! I know it’s based on a book series, but I didn’t read it. The movie is so cute! If you don’t know what it’s about, it’s about a teenage girl named Lara Jean. Her little sister finds letters she’s written over the years to crushes professing her love – letters where she expresses her feelings but never mails. Then, her sister mails the letters and chaos (and maybe love?) ensues.
My next September favorite is one I’ve mentioned on here before. Earlier this month I got a candle holder with leaf cutouts from Bath & Body Works and it’s so pretty.
I love pretty coffee mugs and when I first moved in to my townhouse earlier this summer I bought a few from Home Goods. This flowery one that looks like an oversized tea cup is one of my favs. I got another one like this that’s yellow rather than blue.
Being back at work for over a month now, it’s been essential for me to use antibacterial soap especially with so many kids at school sick! Thankfully Softsoap was kind enough to send me a bunch of soaps! I love their subtle scents.
I got this sherpa lined throw blanket for my couch and it’s so cozy! I’ve been using it so much this month – I can’t imagine how much use it’s going to get when it gets colder. The sherpa side is nice and cozy and the top is a colorful patchwork. I love the prints and colors and I think the colors would work for so many different rooms/furniture/paint colors.
Lastly, I went to see Ed Sheeran in concert in September. The show was so good and my friend was able to upgrade our seats and surprise me when we got there with floor seats!
I got the blanket from Overstock and am so happy I got it!
That wraps up my September favorites. I had a few songs that I loved a lot in September but too many to choose just 1!
What were some things you loved in September?
