Green Wool Coat + Toy Soldier Bridge

I have seen photos of the toy soldiers on a small bridge about 35 minutes away from me for a few years now (the Main Street Bridge in Clinton, NJ), but I’ve never gone to see them. I went last weekend while I was out and it’s such a cute display especially with the backdrop of the infamous Red Mill. I thought the soldiers would be taller and more life sized, but they were still a fun Christmas display.

I wore a green wool coat with wide lapels and a snowflake brooch, a white cashmere sweater, cord skirt, tights, and knee high boots.

Coat: Goodnight Macaroon | Sweater: Macy’s | Skirt: LOFT | Tights: American Eagle | Boots: DSW | Purse: Vici

I think this was the perfect outfit for my toy soldier bridge outing. It’s fun to make regular closet pieces work for a holiday inspired look!
