Christmas Card 2021

Merry Christmas! I hope you are all able to spend time with loved ones this holiday. And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope you are able to still spend this weekend with loved ones.

Christmas is always bittersweet for me. I love the build up to Christmas and all the decorations and festive cheer. Christmas day is when it all comes to an end basically so that’s sad.

Since it’s now Christmas, I assume any holiday cards I sent out this year have made it to their recipients. I sent out fewer cards this year just out of being short on time and I feel like I just sent out a lot more last year because I hadn’t seen a lot of my friends in so long while we were still in the thick of social distancing. This year I’ve been able to see more people and also, I didn’t order my cards this year – I went back to DIY hence fewer cards. I also may have forgotten a few people and then it was too late ha.

This year I had the idea to buy glittery Christmas light stickers and using a black marker draw on the front of card stock to make it look like a string of lights. Simple and pretty!

I bought the card stock, including envelopes, and the light stickers from Amazon. I have done DIY cards before buying things from Michaels so you can really look at either place it just depends on what you’re looking for, the amount you’re looking for, etc.

Anyway, I love how the cards turned out!

Have a very Merry Christmas!
