The Plated Prisoner Series Quotes
Raven Kennedy released the sixth and final book in The Plated Prisoner series back in the fall and I wanted to do a series appreciation post, but my copies of the first five books were in storage at the time. As was my “goldfinch” sweatshirt! So I made a note to myself to do an appreciation post once I moved into my new place and today is that day!
Instead of doing an aesthetic post, because I find that to be a little tricky sometimes with fantasy novels because whenever I try to do a search on Pinterest I usually get inundated with fan art. I thought another way to do an appreciation post for the series would be to share a memorable quote from each book!

- Gild – “Does it really matter if your cage is gold when you aren’t allowed to leave it? A cage is a cage, no matter how gilded.”
- Glint – “Sometimes,’ he murmurs, ‘things need to be ruined in order to then be remade.'”
- Gleam – “You’re not the villain in my story,’ ‘I am,’ he says without remorse, his sharp jaw tight with tension. ‘But I’ll be the villain for you. Not to you.'”
- Glow – “Find me in another life. Find me in them all.”
- Gold – “Because one thing that usually threatens a man is the thought of being replaced by a woman.”
- Goldfinch – “There is no growth without rot. There is no sun without the dark sky. And there is no me without her.”
If you’re a fan of this series, did you catch Raven Kennedy’s latest announcement?! Not only is she working on her upcoming Pied Piper retelling duology, but she confirmed she is working on Ryatt’s story and I’m so excited!
