Book Boyfriends for the 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to all who are celebrating! I know for many, including myself, it’s weird to feel excited about the holiday when most things going on in the country are so horrible right now. But, I’m going to try to take some happiness wherever I can get it and fireworks always make me happy.

I’m probably not seeing any fireworks this weekend, but I had some footage from the last time I saw them, which was at a minor league baseball game back in May. I thought an interesting idea for today’s post would be to take 3 recent book boyfriends of mine and think about how they would do on a fireworks date.

• Samkiel from the Gods & Monsters series would create the fireworks in the sky for you.

• Jack Bennett from Beg, Borrow, or Steal would bring your favorite snacks and a blanket to sit on.

• Hayden Anderson from Great Big Beautiful Life would write something beautiful about the whole night.

I don’t know who I would pick of these 3 if I had to only choose 1!
