Never After Series Wrap-Up

I finished the Never After series by Emily McIntire quite a while ago, but I never did a wrap-up of the series so I thought it would be fun to do a wrap-up by quotes I love for each book. If you don’t know, the Never After series consists of six books that are all twisted, spicy retellings on well known stories/fairytales where the main character is originally one of the villains. So for example, in Hooked the mmc is Hook from Peter Pan.

• Hooked – “You want to watch the world burn?” “Let me guess, you’ll set it on fire?” “No, darling. I’ll hand you the match, and stand at your back, watching you become the queen of the ashes.”
• Scarred – “You could burn down the entire kingdom until it’s nothing but charred rubble, and I would crawl over the embers with glee, so long as I could worship at your feet.”
• Wretched – “But if I’m her calm, then she is my chaos, and if I can’t live with her forever, then I don’t want to live at all.”
• Twisted – “I want to reach into your chest and hold your heart in my hands, making sure it only beats for me. But I don’t want your firsts, Yasmin. I want your forever.”
• Crossed – “Si seulement tu savais quel est mon amour pour toi. You consume me, Amaya. Break apart my faith with the fire of a thousand suns and dominate every nightmare until all I dream is you.”
• Hexed – “In a different life I’d love you out loud.”

I really love these quotes now that I look back on them!
