    Emerald Pull Chain Bracelet

I love pull chain bracelets because they’re customizable to your wrist size. I have small wrists so unless bracelets are adjustable or stretchy, they’re usually too big on me. And even if they have a lobster claw closure or toggle unless there are enough links, it could still be too big for me. But, pull chain bracelets are completely adjustable – you just pull until it fits! I had my eye on these emerald and crystal dangly pull chain bracelet from Alex & Ani all during the lead up to the holidays. I’m pretty sure I shared it on Instagram Stories multiple times. I was going to buy it for…

Pandora – Filled with Romance Charm

For years and year I’ve seen people, coworkers, and friends, buy and wear Pandora bracelets and charms and while I thought they were pretty I never had a desire to get one for myself. I’m not sure why exactly I decided I actually did want one, but this summer I suddenly was like “Hmm I actually do really want one”. So when my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday in August I said a Pandora bracelet. We went to the mall one day and I picked out a bracelet and 1 charm. Well actually, let me rewind. A week earlier we were at the outlets and I…

    Friends 25th Anniversary

If you read my post yesterday about hoping there would be no surprises, setbacks, or other stress related things for my final day before the closing on my condo then I’m here to tell you that yesterday was so filled with stress and anxiety that two new pimples have popped up on my chin. Seriously, I was filled with anxiety all day yesterday and to the point of near tears last night because I’m just so tired. At the time of writing this I have no idea what exactly will happen today and if the closing will go according to plan, but I’ll update you in tomorrow’s post. In much happier…

    The Styled Collection Bracelet Stack

For years I’ve loved the Cartier Love Bracelet, but I’m not exactly in the position to spend a few thousand dollars on a bracelet. I’ve also loved the look of David Yurman bracelets, but again don’t want to spend a few hundred on a bracelet. In recent months I saw the growing popularity of jewelry brand, The Styled Collection, that sells reasonably priced jewelry with many of the pieces being dupes for the (much) more expensive and higher-end favorites. In the past couple months I have placed a few orders with the company and have had really good experiences with them! I have created a little bracelet stack for myself…

    Angel Coin Charm Bracelet

I wrote a few days ago about hoops being a big trend again after a few years in the backseat. Well, coin jewelry is also a huge thing right now and I am all for it. Layered coin necklaces, pendants, charm bracelets, you name it – I love how intricate they can get all while still being dainty for the most part. Back a couple months ago I did a post on my layered coin necklace so you know my love for it is real. When going through my jewelry box, I came across this charm bracelet I got years ago. I’m really talking years ago – like when I was in…

    East & Linbrooke Bracelet

Today is a long day for me as I’ve got Back to School Night tonight at work. As I write this (this post is scheduled to go up) my plan is to go home for the few hours I have between the school day and the event so I can have some down time before heading back to work. Since this is going to be a long, tiring day for me let’s talk about something happy! East & Linbrooke is an online shop crafting and selling items ranging from earrings to needlepoint coasters. Brooke, the founder, does all the handcraft items herself! The shop and I got in touch with each…

    Stella & Dot Pavé Triangles

It’s not a secret that I’m a big fan of both rose gold and dainty jewelry. I do love statement pieces too, but for work my look tends to be more simple just for practical reasons. So when my bestie gave me these Stella & Dot Pavé Triangle cuff and ring in rose gold as a gift, I immediately loved them! Both the cuff and ring are adjustable, which is perfect for me because my wrists are pretty small and I like wearing statement type rings on my middle finger. The rose gold is very subtle on these pieces leaning more yellow than pink, but very pretty nonetheless. And as…

    Photo Challenge: Harmony

More people enjoyed my photo response to last week’s photo challenge than I anticipated. I didn’t really think too many people would be interested in my sleepy and burnt out “state of mind”, but I guess people could relate. It definitely makes me not feel so bad about comparing myself to a drooping flower! Thanks for the love! This week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post was “Harmony”. When I was little I took piano lessons. I took lessons for several years actually, but I never got very good at it because I rarely practiced so the weekly 30 minute lessons didn’t really do much for me. Now that I’m…
