    Highlighting Your Home

Spending money on your home is often an investment well worth undertaking. In general anything you plough into your home adds value almost immediately so if you’re thinking of selling up and moving on, little to large changes can make all the difference. But maybe you’re not in the market for selling and simply want to update your look and make some changes, giving your home a new lease of life. Looking inside is often the easiest place to start. You probably spend most of your time in one room so start right there. Begin with the décor and then turn inwards to your furniture and fittings. How are those…

How To Prevent Your Home From Being a Cliche

Pexels Let us preface this article by suggesting that you have the obvious right to decorate your home however you like. However, it can be worthwhile, if you hope to implement your own unique personality onto its four walls, to figure out what that truly means. Preventing your home from being a cliche is far from simply managing your expectations and trying to do the best with what you have. It means taking an intelligent means to its decoration and renovation to help your home stand out among the hundreds on your street. This is quite important to consider, and can help you develop your home with the most joy.…

    Fall in Historic Bethlehem

Last weekend I met up with my friend and her baby in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to walk around, eat lunch, and catch up. It’s a halfway point for us and two years ago we walked around the Christmas market at the steel stacks in Bethlehem. This time we met up in the downtown, Main St. area which just so happens to be in historic Bethlehem. I only took a few photos, but I thought I’d still share them. The weather was perfect and everything was so nicely decorated for fall. When we walked down the side, residential streets pretty much every home was decorated so cute for fall! So many pretty…

My Visit to Island Spa & Sauna

A few weeks ago Island Spa & Sauna invited me to celebrate their 3 year anniversary. Never one to pass up an opportunity to go to a spa, I immediately said yes! They invited me in and offered me complimentary admission, meal, and drink. To celebrate their 3rd anniversary, they are offering all of you a free admission ticket with the purchase of any 60 minutes (or longer) spa service. And let me tell you, it is worth it! Despite this spa being just 20 minutes from me, I had never been. I’d heard great things and seen it when I drove by but never went myself. I documented my time…

    BBG: 3 Month Check-In

I’m back with my 3 month check-in of the BBG program. I can’t believe I’ve been keeping up with this for 3 months already! Like with my first and second check-ins, I haven’t found it hard to stay motivated and keep up with working out 6 days a week. Some days are a little tougher to get myself going than others, but I haven’t skipped any days which i’m really proud of myself for. The only days I don’t do some sort of BBG exercise is on my rest days. I’m still doing BBG1 and it’s been tough. I definitely think I’ll be re-doing BBG1 at the end of the…

    #Iconic VoxBox

A few weeks ago I was surprised with a Influenster VoxBox – the #Iconic VoxBox. Usually Influenster emails ahead of time to let me know I would be receiving a box and the app has it set up for me to check in my box once I receive it. I didn’t know if it was a mistake or if it was a surprise gift, but I did a quick search on Instagram using the #iconicvoxbox hashtag and found a bunch of people who had gotten it without knowing ahead of time as well. Within a few hours after receiving it the app was updated and I was able to check…

BBG Beginner 1 Month Check In

I hope you’re all having a great weekend so far! I had a pretty productive day yesterday with my monthly massage, some blog business, and hanging out with friends where I got them to try out a game with me that I was sent for review. It was pretty fun and I’ll be writing all about it for you guys in an upcoming post so be on the lookout for that later in the month! I have a bit of a lengthy post for you today, so grab a cup of coffee and/or a snack!  I’ve mentioned it on here once or twice in passing, but I have started using…

    Christmas Memories

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I love this time of year because everything is so festive. I love Christmas decorations and everything is just pretty, merry, and bright. It’s usually cold enough here in December to feel like winter, but not bitterly cold like in January or February. The night air smells good like a mix of pine, chimneys, and crisp air. Everything just feels magical! I love the quote above and think it’s so true! So to get in to the holiday spirit I thought I’d share a few sweet Christmas memories with you all. My family’s Christmas tree is pretty standard in terms of decorating…

    November 2017 Favorites

November seems to have gone by in a flash and we’re truly into the last legs of 2017. Crazy! I have a handful of favorites from this month so let’s get right to them. I have 2 TV shows from this month that I wanted to include in my favorites because I’ve been really enjoying them. First, I’m loving the Will & Grace Revival. It’s still funny and I love that their jokes are always current and relevant. The other show I’ve been loving is new this season – The Good Doctor. Have you watched it? It’s based on a Korean show and it’s about a medical resident, Shaun Murphy, who is…

    Act of Kindness

Happy Friday! Now that we’re past Halloween, it’s officially time to get ready for holiday season with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up sooner than we think. Now that Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, it’s definitely a good time to be more mindful of what we’re thankful for and be more giving. It also doesn’t hurt to do more acts of kindness during this season of giving. I’ve collaborated with Oxfam to share an act of kindness that I received. It’s a little bit alarming that when asked about a random act of kindness that I received I wasn’t immediately swimming with instances. In fact, I really had to…
