Pizza Stockings
I can’t believe Christmas is just a few days away now. It always comes and goes too quickly! Today I’m sharing a holiday themed snack or appetizer – pizza stockings! Back in the summer I saw a picture on Pinterest or somewhere else online of pizza stockings and I remember thinking “oh that’s a cute idea”. Well, that image stuck in my mind because as the holiday season approached I thought to myself that I needed to make these pizza stockings. I didn’t look up any recipes, but I’m sure you can find some out there. I just bought pizza dough, used my stocking cookie cutter, used left over tomato…

Is it possible to feel burnt out from work only 3 weeks in? This school year is shaping up to be very stressful. Counting down the days until the next holiday! In the meantime, I’ve got a new food post and video for you today. If you’ve been following me for a while, you may remember my last pizza post where I made pizza at home using naan bread. Lately, for my at-home pizzas I’ve been forgoing the naan bread and buyingΒ this pizza crust dough from Brooklyn Bred. I do pretty much the same thing as when I make the naan pizzas with essentially the same toppings. I brush on…

Naan Pizza
Naan, a flat bread hailing from South Asia, has become increasingly popular in the western world for quite some time now. Every once in a while I like to make my own pizza at home.Β Making pizzas at home has been something I’ve done with my family since I was in middle school probably. Over the years the kinds of pizzas I’ve made have changed. I’ve used frozen pizza dough and made whole cookie sheets of pizza. That changed to buying pizza dough from local pizza shops and making pies at home. These days, I’m into making personal sized pizzas and using naan bread is the perfect way to do this.…

1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza
Getting closer to the weekend and it’s a 3-day weekend so I definitely can’t wait! In the meantime, onto today’s food post. A few months ago, my blog buddy Tezzy from The Tezzy FilesΒ wrote about her experience and meal at 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria in Dubai. I told her about how there was a new-ish restaurant by me calledΒ 1000 Degrees Neapolitan! I hadn’t tried it, but it was on my list of places to try out. Well, I finally got to go so I thought I would share some pictures of my pizza there and write a little bit about my experience and how the pizza tasted. The restaurant is…

Pull-Apart Pizza
It snowed overnight and we got about 4 inches. Of course it would snow on a Saturday when I can’t get a snow day from work! But alas, beggars can’t be choosers. So if you’ll be spending the day in today like me, I’ve got an easy food idea for you that is perfect for next week’s Super Bowl or if you’re just in the mood for some easy, doughy, pizza! I found some different Pull-Apart Pizza recipes from Pinterest, but mostly followed this one. First, I used Pillsbury Grand Biscuits and cut the uncooked biscuits into quarters. Then, I threw them into a mixing bowl. The recipe calls for…
