Beach Style OOTD

The other day I had a little beach day. My first beach day of the summer! I live about 40 minutes from the beach, which makes summer life even better.

 The blue/green theme just kinda happened. I didn’t plan it in advance, but once I realized the towel I picked out of my closet matched my bathing suit and sunglasses I just went with it.
Swimsuit: I can’t remember where my bikini is from and I can’t tell you the brand because it is reversible therefore no tags! If I had to guess though I think I got it from Kohls last summer.
Coverup: Lace, strapless romper from Aerie. I love beach coverups! They’re always so comfy and perfect for wearing over your bathing suit when you want to cover up going to and/or from the beach or pool.
Sunglasses: Kohls

Besides my moisturizer and sunscreen on my face, I just have some concealer (Benefit Erase Paste) and powder (BareMinerals loose powder) on to even out my skin. I don’t usually wear makeup other than that to the beach because 1) it’s going to wash off or half run off your face once you go in the water and 2) same effect when you sweat it off. But, I do use some concealer and powder or a bb cream just because I like to even out my skin and cover up any under eye darkness and blemishes. I usually also bring powder with me so that if I go to eat lunch or something from the beach I can touch up if I feel like I look like a hot mess.
