Casual Fridays

I love Fridays. Not only does it mean the weekend is upon us, but it means I can wear jeans to work. While I don’t mind wearing work clothes at all, it’s a nice change of pace after wearing business casual-y clothing Monday-Thursday. Sometime during the school year, my school gives us school shirts to wear on Fridays with our jeans. It’s usually a variation of the same shirt every year, which resembles a bowling or soccer shirt complete with our name either embroidered or printed on it. No offense to bowling shirts, but I’m not exactly dying to wear it for 8 hours every Friday of the school year. Plus, the shirts only come in men’s sizes so even when they give me a size small, I still look like I’m swimming in it. So as you can see I love the Fridays before the shirts come in because I can wear tops that I like!

Here’s what I wore yesterday.

Top:  Loft
Jeans: Express
Sandals: Mia via DSW
Watch: Fossil
Earrings: Target

I love the top because of it’s bright coral/salmon color and the front zipper cause you know I love zippers. The earrings are a grey-ish, muddy green color. The backings are a little loose, but what can you expect from a bargain find at Target.

For my makeup, it was pretty much the same as in my work appropriate skater skirt look since those were the products in my weekly basket. I used different shades from that Crown Brush palette for the eyes and I swapped out the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara with Too Faced Lashgasm. It was time to replace my Smashbox mascara.

Hopefully I will have a few more casual Friday wear posts before my school shirt arrives!
