Dipped Key OOTD

If you follow me on any Twitter or Instagram, you may have seen me post that I won a giveaway! Victoria from Living Disrobed hosted a giveaway with La Clé Jewelry to give one lucky person (me!) a dipped key necklace. I was ecstatic that I won and couldn’t contain my excitement!

A little about the keys/company… Each color key represents something different and you can choose colors based on qualities you think of for yourself, qualities you would like to possess, or just cause you like the color. I chose pink which stands for thoughtful and patient. I love the idea of these keys. The dipped keys are vintage looking keys dipped in color. Once the color fades (and you have symbolically absorbed the qualities of the color) you are left with the Naked Key. There are all different kinds of keys you can get and if you didn’t think this was cool enough already listen to this – once you have a Naked Key if you post a picture of it on social media and tell what your key means to you, La Clé will make a donation to a charity of your choice! Isn’t that amazing?!

Anyway, I received my key last week and wanted to share how I styled it for my first time wearing it!

Sandals: Xhiliration via Target

I thought the pink key would really pop against the blue lace. I opted to wear a white tank top underneath the lace top so that the pink would really stand out. The key will be a great piece to wear casually like in this outfit and I’m looking forward to styling it more.
