Did you get snow yesterday where you live? I know a lot of states got snow and ice. It started snowing here right in time for my morning commute and it was an icy mess. I was hoping to get an early dismissal from work, but no such luck. But let’s look back on a look from a non-snowy mild winter day. Last month I shared the first look from my winter photoshoot with my friend Jaye Kogut Photography. A super soft, cozy, and stylish shearling coat, embellished boxy purse, and burgundy sock boots. Today I’m sharing my second look from the photoshoot – a velvet floral bomber.
I love this green bomber jacket with it’s beautiful floral design. I got this jacket back in September from LOFT on sale. I went to the store and they were having a big sale. I wasn’t sure if this bomber jacket was on sale since there wasn’t a sale sign on the particular rack it was on, so I checked with the sales associate and found out everything in the store was on sale! Like with the shearling coat look I kept on my studded pink sweater and black leggings. I switched out the burgundy sock boots for black boots with bows on the side. I’m loving these boots so much that I went back and also bought them in grey!

I love the colors in this jacket and I’m so happy I got it, and on sale! The colors are so rich and the fact that it’s velvet fits right in with that rich, warm winter vibe. Pairing the jacket with black leggings and black boots helps create a sleek look and the light pink sweater is a very subtle color to wear with it so the rich colors of the jacket can take center stage.
I couldn’t find this jacket on the LOFT website, but I did see it in store just this past weekend so you may be able to find it in store if you’re interested!
I have one last look to share with you from my winter photoshoot and it’s actually a restyling of a look I posted on here years ago, so I’m excited. That post will come in a few weeks, so stay tuned! And despite the cold and snowy weather here, I’m excited that Jaye and I have scheduled our spring shoot and I’m already thinking up outfits and ideas!
