Summer Style & Fall Jewel Tones

The weather is slowly, but surely, moving towards the fall direction. It’s not as hot out anymore, but there’s still not that constant cool, crisp, fall air yet. Since some days it’s still pretty warm out, I thought I would wear summer clothes but incorporate fall (or at least more fall) jewel toned type colors into the look. So one day not too long ago, I wore this floral graphic tee with crochet shorts.

The yellow tee with the floral swirls of orange, and shades of pink and light red seem like just the right colors for the end of summer/beginning of fall. The bright pink crochet shorts are a richer color that can easily transition from summer to fall as long as the weather is shorts weather.

As the weather continues to transition in a mild fashion, I have more transition looks to share with you over the coming weeks — some that I’ve been saving and some that I haven’t put together yet!
