I’m on YouTube!
I have exciting news! Well, for me – but I hope you’ll join me in being excited. I’m officially on YouTube! I’d been toying with the idea of making a YouTube channel for a while now, but I didn’t want to be in front of the camera talking just because I’m not comfortable doing that. At least not yet. So, I decided to take some video clips of my mini-getaway last week and put them together with music!
Now, I’m new to this and I decided to just take the video on my iPhone which actually takes pretty good quality video. Unfortunately, I didn’t know before taking all these videos that when shooting on your iPhone you need to hold your phone landscape style (horizontal) or else there seems to be no escaping your video coming out in a letterbox frame. Oh well, it’s all a learning process, right? I promise to improve next time! I’m obviously so used to holding my phone portrait style, because that’s the way you use your phone so this will take some getting used to.
I had a fun time putting this together and I think for now I’ll stick to occasionally put together videos of random adventures, travel/vacations, some food and cooking videos to accompany my posts on here.
