Prom [Chaperone] FOTD

This past Thursday, I chaperoned my 5th prom! I can’t believe I’ve been to that many proms. I thought it would be fun to post a FOTD and show some of the products I used.

I used Sephora’s Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation as my foundation and Benefit‘s Porefessional as my primer (not pictured) to create a flawless base. Next, I used Smashbox’s #ShapeMatters palette for my eyeshadow, contour, and highlight. There are also brow powders included, but I continued using my IT Cosmetics pencil that I’ve been using. This palette is so comprehensive, but surprisingly does not contain a blush which is a shame because this could totally be an all-in-one palette! I used my loose powder blush in the shade “Joyous Jennifer” from BareMinerals. To further make my face/complexion seem as flawless as possible, I used Revlon’s Photoready Concealer, IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye, and BareMinerals Well Rested loose powder to set the undereye (not pictured). I primed my lids with NYX High Definition Eyeshadow Base which I have been enjoying for a while now. I topped off my lashes with BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara. I love volumizing mascaras. Length is nice, but what really draws me to a mascara is fullness. On my lips, I wore Clinique’s Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in the shade “Curvy Candy”. Lastly, I spritzed my face with MAC Fix+ and was all done!

I used my beloved Beachwaver to put some loose curls/beachy waves in my hair and if you’re interested, I wore the same dress as the dress I wore to my friends’ wedding last Memorial Day Weekend.

I really enjoyed how this look came together. I love looking natural and this is a pretty natural look even with the slightly smokey eyes.
