Cutout Sleeve Sweater
Yesterday I talked about cutout leaves using pie cutters for my apple pie, so it seems only logical to talk about this sweater with cutout sleeves today. Before I get into today’s post, I have to note that I’m writing this on Saturday night (I usually do write my posts the night before) and I’m tired and starting to get hungry but it’s past 1 am so I feel like I shouldn’t eat and I should just quickly get this post scheduled and go to bed! I had a busy, but fun, day and when I got home tonight I watched Part 2 (Spring) of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life – no spoilers please! When that finished I decided to bang out this post, I just needed to get my photos onto my laptop. I spent over an hour (!) trying to get my photos onto my computer. It was so frustrating and I thought about giving up and not getting this post out but my stubbornness got the better of me. I don’t know what’s wrong with my memory card on my camera. I can see the pictures on the camera so I know the card isn’t completely shot, but the card won’t even be detected by my computer. I tried another card from another camera to see if it was my card reader, but that worked so it’s not the reader. I have no idea. I restarted my laptop multiple times too. Anyway, after an hour of trying to figure out what was the issue and doing countless (and useless) Google searches, I figured out how to connect the actual camera to my laptop directly and get the photos on. Maybe my memory card from my Canon is just on its last legs? If anyone knows what the problem is please let me know!
Sorry for the rambling, but I needed to get that out! Plus, now you know this post was a total labor of love.
Sweater: American Eagle | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Boots: Betsey Johnson via DSW
The big trend earlier this year was the cold shoulder trend which I totally got on board with, but since the cutouts on this sweater are not technically on the shoulder but rather the arm, I’m calling it a cutout sleeve. I love the crochet detailing at the cutout because it gives it a more interesting look rather than just a hole.
I paired the top with jeans and my new taupe Betsey Johnson booties. I got these boots after scouring the interwebs for booties with the cutout or dip that I liked and were reasonably priced. These jeans were not originally meant to be rolled up, but I wanted to show off the detailing on the boots and these are not the type of boots you tuck your jeans into! So I rolled up the bottoms and I think it makes the whole ensemble look even better!
When this post goes live I’ll probably still be sleeping after this frustrating ordeal, but shortly I’ll be up and off to do some more Christmas decorating and pretending I won’t be back at work in 24 hours!

I still have to finish the last part tonight but from what I’ve heard the ending is left open so people are hoping there will be more lol. My friend also made a good point in saying that she doesn’t believe Netflix would pay the money to buy the rights to the show and then not make the most out of it lol

That’s true and yeah she’s definitely right but I can understand them not having another series after this one. When you watch the end, I believe you can see why there doesn’t have to be one.
