Textured Mossy Chartreuse

It’s been a tiring week and I have a million things on my mind and on my to-do list so I’m grateful for the weekend. However, I have to go into work today for a few hours but if I didn’t I would totally be participating in one of the Women’s Marches today! What are the odds that one of two Saturdays I have to work all year is on the day of the Women’s March? I’m there in spirit! <3

Since I’m a little stressed out and all I thought I’d share a brighter look today. If you noticed the title of this blog post, I’m calling this sweater color “mossy chartreuse”. Why? Well, American Eagle labeled this sweater chartreuse, but I think it leans more green than yellow on the chartreuse spectrum which is why I added the “mossy” to the title because I think it does look a little mossy. This is actually perfect because the Pantone Color of the Year is Greenery and this sweater is totally in that greenery area.

I felt that gold accessories would go best with this sweater so I chose my gold and glitzy Caravelle by Bulova watch and my Leo Zodiac Constellation necklace from BaubleBar. Oh and my cream flats with gold detailing. I love textured sweaters because they automatically make your look more interesting.

So what do you think? Is this color more chartreuse or more moss? Or maybe you can just say it’s something in-between like I did and call it mossy chartreuse!
