Lantern Sleeve + Infinity Scarf

It’s going to be a cold week here and I’d love (and I mean really love) a snow day but there doesn’t seem to be any snow in the forecast anytime soon. I’ve been slammed with work lately and everything going on in the world is exhausting. I’d like a day to just be snowed in and to just collect myself. But alas, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards anytime soon. So a new work week begins today and I’m back here to tell you about the lantern sleeve top I wore to work on a more mild winter day recently.

This could be just an ordinary, plain blue top but the lantern sleeve changes the whole thing. Who would’ve thought that by simply cinching sleeves above the elbow and then again at the wrist could change an entire look?

This top is light weight and therefore not very warm so I wore this infinity scarf with multi-colored flowers. I thought the scarf matched pretty well with the top with its complimentary colors and offered subtle pops of color against the blue. I got this scarf when I was in Alaska last summer. I wore my new blue stud Kate Spade earrings that my bestie bought me for Christmas and my Fossil watch. Absolutely love how vibrant the blue earrings are! And a good match for this blue top.
