Photo Challenge: Repurpose

It’s Friday! It’s time for my photo challenge response and I was feeling a bit uninspired when trying to figure out what to do for the prompt “Repurpose“. I think a big part of it was that I’ve been exhausted all week and pretty much feeling very run down. So it was hard to think of what picture to use and honestly a little hard to even write this post. I thought about skipping the post today, but I decided to go through with it anyway because this is my happy space and I knew once I started writing I would feel the stress melt away – at least for the amount of time it would take to write the post.

I had a hard time thinking of what photo to use for this photo challenge. I found this photo I took a few years ago when I went to Nashville, Tennessee for vacation. I kept thinking to myself that I must have something better but I just had no energy to look for more photos and no brain energy to think of one so I decided to just stick with this.

While in Nashville we went on a side trip to Arrington Vineyards and after doing some wine tasting we sat out on their little deck/veranda area. I vaguely remember eating lunch there that we had brought ourselves. I think we got food from Panera ahead of time because we had heard the vineyard had a seating area where you could eat your own picnic type lunch. Anyway, in the outdoor seating area there was this pretty planter with little buckets stacked on top that had been repurposed to be a little water fountain. So quaint and rustic yet pretty. I think it fit in to the surroundings perfectly. I’m not sure if these buckets were ever used as real buckets and then repurposed for this fountain or if there sole purpose was for decorative purposes. But, in any case it’s the idea that counts!
