Perfectly Imperfect

Sometimes, or oftentimes, we may feel pressure to strive for perfection. Especially these days with social media it is easy to feel like we always need to be perfect. What I mean by perfect is always having it together, looking fabulous at all times, and doing a stellar job in all aspects of life and beyond. But, it’s important to remember that no one is perfect and what we see on social media is carefully curated bits and pieces of people’s lives. We put out what we want people to see and so do most other people. I mean sometimes I’ll post something I tried to do that turned out to be a total fail, but for the majority of my posts I’m going to choose pictures that I think are the best of the bunch.

So when I saw this shirt that says “Perfectly Imperfect” I thought it was 1) really cute and 2) a good reminder that no one’s perfect!

I picked up this lightweight top via Instagram through a shop called Bungalow 20. The pieces they offer are really stylish and amazing quality. I have purchased one other item from them so far and I will be sharing it on here soon! This top is soooo soft. Like silky soft. I love it. And it reminds me that I am perfectly fine being perfectly imperfect.
