Photo Challenge: Order
Happy Friday! It’s the last Friday of the school year and I’m beyond ready for a break. I’m going to make this quick because I’m so exhausted from end-of-year work. Last night was graduation for the seniors which was bittersweet because I’ve known most of them since they were in 7th grade. So seeing as I have no energy to make this a lengthy post, let’s get right to it.
Last week’s photo challenge was “Order“. As it’s grilling season (but is there really any time when it’s not grilling season?) I thought I’d use this photo from last summer for the challenge. When you’re grilling, especially for a large group of people, you’re going to have a lot of things to go on the grill and in batches. I like to group foods together to cook. In this photo, lamb was on one side, steak on the other with some rosemary for extra flavor. Sometimes I have meat and vegetables both on the grill also so meats would be on one side and vegetables like corn on the cob will be on the other.
I think grouping things or having them in a certainΒ order is helpful in cooking and just makes sense. Maybe that’s my slight OCD tendencies coming out, but personally I think it makes sense!
