Photo Challenge: Textures

Happy Friday! When this post goes live I’ll be on the road heading to Canada for the weekend. Keep up with my Instagram stories to see what I’m up to!

For last week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post, participants were challenged to share a photo that represented “Textures” to them. I thought of sharing something earthy, but then I came across a photo I took back in the winter on my phone of my appetizer at the restaurant, Seasons 52. I got the ahi tuna tartare and the layered appetizer definitely had different textures to it.

The ahi tuna was so soft and tender sitting on top of a smooth wasabi-avocado mousse and topped with a tropical salsa. There were also Hawaiian sea salt crisps to eat with it which gave the dish it’s crunchy texture, but it’s not pictured here.

Hopefully this photo didn’t make you too hungry! I have another post scheduled to go up later today and it’s another food one!

Have a great Friday!
