Old El Paso Taco Dinner Kit
I recently got sent this soft taco dinner kit from Old El Paso and I thought what better day to share it with you all than on Taco Tuesday! These kits are great because they come with almost everything you’ll need minus the meat and toppings. The kit comes with taco shells, taco seasoning, and taco sauce.
What’s also great about these kits is that the taco shells are boats so they’re so much easier to fill, hold, and eat. The items I had to use of my own were ground beef, lettuce, and cheese.
I browned the ground beef and drained the excess liquid. Then I poured in water and the taco seasoning. Once that thickens, take it off the heat.
I filled my soft taco boats with the meat and then topped it off with shredded lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese. I would’ve diced some tomatoes too but I didn’t have any on hand. Lastly, I spooned some of the taco sauce on top and that’s it! So easy!
These were so tasty and it reminded me how much I love soft tacos! The taco boats are genius and made my taco eating so much easier and less messy.
These kits came with 8 tacos which is perfect for a small family. I ate 2 for lunch.
