Photo Challenge: I’d Rather Be…

Yesterday I was supposed to have a delayed opening due to the snow, but it turned out to be a day off. Not one to usually complain about a day off from work (except for now I keep losing days of summer break), I was exceptionally bored yesterday. I’m done with winter now and I really need spring!

So for last week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post, “I’d Rather Be…” it was a no-brainer. I’d rather be in Hawaii, my favorite place on earth! I’ve shared this photo on here once or twice before, but I don’t think I’ve ever used it for a photo challenge. Regardless, it’s just too good a photo to pass up sharing as much as possible.

This photo hasn’t been altered at all. It came straight from my phone and the only thing I did was add my little logo. This was taken a few years ago when I was last in Hawaii, the Big Island to be specific. We saw the most gorgeous rainbow up ahead and pulled over to take photos.

I’m not exaggerating when I say, Hawaii is my heaven on earth and I would much rather be there right now!
