Antique Blue Buffet Table
Since moving in to my townhouse I knew I wanted to get a buffet table or sideboard along the short wall of my dining area. I thought it would help complete the room and it would be great for storage since storage is definitely limited here. I browsed most of the summer for a buffet table I liked that also wouldn’t break the bank. When Wayfair was having a Labor Day sale I narrowed it down to two different tables. I compared styles, size, reviews etc. Ultimately, I chose the Kenya Buffet because it got good reviews and was the right size. The other one I was looking at was really nice too but longer and a dark brown. This one is antique blue and goes with all the shades of blue I have going on in the downstairs of the house. It also is smaller so there’s still wall space which leaves the outlet exposed and also leaves room for a plant in the future.
On top of the buffet I have napkins and some fall decorations. There are two drawers which currently house pot holders and things like that. Inside the glass cabinet doors I have the gazillion snacks I bought from Japan and Hong Kong over the summer and some liquor my brother and his friend opened one night. Eventually when I buy prettier plates and serving platters that are too big for my kitchen cabinets I’ll put them in the buffet table.
Table: Wayfair (here) | Pumpkin: Hobby Lobby | Wooden Sign: Hobby Lobby | Owl Luminary: Bath & Body Works | Napkin Holder: Bed Bath & Beyond
You’ll see my buffet table again during the holidays when I swap out the fall decor for Christmas decor. I can’t wait to decorate my townhouse for Christmas! But for now I’m enjoying my favorite season – fall.
Have a wonderful Friday!
