Pink Trim Drop Waist Dress
How was your weekend? Mine was not as relaxing as I had hoped. I mean, I knew I had a lot of things to get done, but I wish I had a little more down time. After a week of things just not going right and a weekend that continued with that theme, I’m hoping that this new week will be completely different. I’m trying to be super productive today and get a few blog posts knocked out tonight since tomorrow I’ll be out at a concert after work and Wednesday night I’m going to a ceramics place for a fun holiday craft (more on that at a later time!)
Before I start stressing out about what I need to get done today, let’s look at what I wore this past Saturday. I wanted to get one more wear out of this summer lightweight dress before it got too cold. However, it was pretty chilly out so I made it work for a fall outfit. Instead of wearing this dress off-the-shoulder I had it up on the shoulders which made a square neckline. The material is very thin, so I wore a camisole underneath and leggings making this drop waist dress more of a tunic than a dress. I love the pink trim at the neckline and at the drop waist line.

My quilted pink slip-ons were the perfect complement to the sweet and delicate pink trim on the dress. I’m so happy I was able to wear this dress again before it gets too cold. This week is going to be chillier than it has been this season so far so I’m looking forward to fully embracing fall fashion.
