Purple Print Blouse
Happy Friday!
Guys, I am pretty pleased with this outfit because I successfully front-tucked this blouse! I am the worst at front-tucking. It never looks right on me. Like ever. But this time it actually worked out and I love the way it looks!
I got this purple print blouse for Christmas. I wouldn’t say it’s floral but it’s some sort of all-over print. They look a little bit like fans, maybe? There is a button at the neckline leaving a slit style keyhole which I love and think it breaks up the all-over print. I actually love that it’s a slit and not a round keyhole.
When I wore this to work a few days ago, I obviously did not wear these busted knee jeans. I wore this top with dark grey pants and used a hair tie to twist up the top and tuck it under. But, when I took photos over the weekend, I wore it dressed down a bit and wore it with the distressed jeans and black mules.
Note that the first few photos I’m sharing are the blouse un-tucked so you can see the length.
Blouse: LOFT | Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch | Shoes: Target
This blouse is perfect for work and really comfortable on. Not stiff at all, but soft and flowy. And these jeans are my current fav. They are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. I wore them in one of my outfits in my photoshoot last weekend so when I share that look I am sure I will gush about these jeans in more depth!
But back to this blouse – the length is too long to wear untucked or twisted up. Normally I like leaving things untucked a majority of the time, but this length just doesn’t work for this type of blouse so I’m happy I was able to get it front tucked successfully!
