Travel Style
Happy Saturday! I’m writing this ahead of time, but if all went according to plan I arrived in Georgia yesterday afternoon. I’m here visiting family for a few days and I plan to take some outfit photos and pretty much photos of everything I eat, so be on the look out for that next week!
Just doing a quick post today to share what I wore for my travel day yesterday. Definitely took these photos ahead of time because I already knew what I was going to wear yesterday. Since I was in the middle of taking my suitcase from my parents’ house back to my place I thought why not plan ahead and get photos for this post out of the way?!
For my travel day I wore leggings, a white bodysuit, and a marled crossover wrap top. Ultimate comfort and cuteness! Also, slip on shoes are key to keeping my feet warm on the plane but also easy on/off if I have to take my shoes off at the airport for security.
I contemplated taking just a carry-on suitcase with me, but since I’m packing a bit more than I normally would for a long weekend in order to take some photos I had to bring a slightly bigger suitcase. Normally, I would bring a backpack with me as my carry-on where I put laptop, wallet, glasses, chargers, etc. But, I decided to be a little more stylish this time and bring this large Adrienne Vittadini tote bag that my cousin gave me!
Here’s a little look of what will be going inside my bag. I forgot a few things in the photo below that I also stuck in my bag. Here you’ll see a book I’m reading, my laptop & charger, glasses, sunglasses, phone charger, Halls drops, and dried ginger. And I also included the star sweatshirt I plan to wear on my travel day back home. What’s not included in the photos is my wallet, passport, tissues, and headphones.
The tote bag actually has a slot for a small laptop or iPad, but my MacBook Air didn’t fit in the slot so I”m using that pocketed slot for my wallet, glasses, chargers, etc. Things that I don’t want floating around in the bag. Since my laptop doesn’t fit in the slot inside the bag, I put it in the laptop zip case/sleeve that I use and stuck it in my bag. The Halls is because sometimes I like having candy to suck on and the dried ginger is because I sometimes get motion sickness so it helps to calm my stomach. The book I’m bringing is for my next book review.
So there’s a look at what I wore on the plane yesterday and almost everything that was in my tote bag!
