Linen Cardigan + Double O-Ring Belt
This is one of those weeks that I can’t decide if it’s going by quickly or slowly. Part of me is thinking “wow it’s already Thursday!” and part of me is like “How is it not Friday yet?” It’s been a really busy week at work with the end of the marking period approaching which means lots of grading. Add to that the stress of my renovations and moving and my life is very chaotic lately.
But on to stress-free matters – my clothes! I got this light grey linen blend cardigan with front pockets late in the summer. It’s technically labeled as a duster, but it hits at mid-thigh which I don’t consider to be duster length. I wanted to wear it a bit differently to work the other day so I belted it with my black double o-ring belt. The belt is Gucci inspired for way cheaper from Amazon. I wore a sleeveless green top underneath, black ankle length pants, and my favorite black flats. Seriously, they are the most comfortable black flats I have ever worn in my life!
Cardigan: LOFT | Top: Express | Belt: Amazon (here) | Pants: Old Navy (here) | Shoes: Clarks via DSW (here)
The linen blend cardigan is available in white still, but only in xxl . It is on sale though so if that’s your size I would grab it! You can get an extra 40% off with code FESTIVE and I’ve also linked to another similar one which is available in all sizes, below.
My green sleeveless top is a few years old so I can’t link to it, but any color top underneath would go great with this grey and black look.
I think belting the cardigan just gives a different look to the outfit as a whole – a more pulled together look – and is a way to change up the look of the cardigan.
