Blue & White Tulip Back

Happy Memorial Day! Hopefully you have off from work today, if you’re in the US, and can take advantage of the long weekend. When this post goes live, I should be going through security at the airport heading home from my weekend trip to Toronto. A blog post on my trip coming at you in a few days!

Today, I’m sharing a top I wore to work last week. It’s blue and white which is a color combo that I always associate with the summer – very nautical combination – and since Memorial Day Weekend is always the unofficial start to summer this is a fitting outfit to share.

This short sleeve top is navy blue with an attached striped blue and white layer underneath. The best part is the tulip back showing off the sheer striped layer underneath.

I didn’t wear this top with jeans to work last week, but I did wear the shoes and the blue crystal bracelet. I wore this top with dark grey pants for work – proof that this top is great casually and dressed  down with jeans and great for work with nicer pants.

I think the tulip back is so fun and I love how it lets the striped layer take center stage in the back.
