October 2017 Favorites

I can’t believe it’s already November! This month just flew by. So this month I’ve been so busy with work, birthdays, baby showers, etc. With that being said, I don’t have a lot of favorites this month and of the ones I do have the majority of them are food. I guess food is what made me really happy this month!

First up, I love cinnamon buns. I’ve made them from scratch before and I’ve bought them from places countless times. But, the Cinnabon closest to me closed a few years ago so I don’t eat them as often. Then, I found out that Sam’s Club makes cinnamon buns and they’re so good! Not too sweet and perfect with a cup of coffee.

The next food item I was loving in October were these curry beef pastries from Chinatown in New York. I’ve been eating these since I was little, but hadn’t had any in a long time. My dad bought me a few over the past two months and I forgot how delicious they are! So good! I usually eat half at a time just to savor them for longer.

While out and about with my friend a few weeks ago, we stopped at Starbucks to grab some coffee and food while out. I’ve gotten baked goods from Starbucks before but never a sandwich and this tomato & mozarella sandwich was so tasty! I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was!

A few weeks ago I also went to Six Flags: Great Adventure and I was really happy that I got to ride my favorite ride, Nitro, twice in a row because of the super short line! This ride is my all-time fav. It opened when I was in high school, more years ago than I care to reveal, and it still remains a firm favorite. The ride is just that good! Next up, my new favorite pair of shoes! I picked up these Aldo shoes when I was at the outlets recently and they’re so pretty, stylish, and comfortable! They zip in the back so there’s no fiddling with those straps. They also feature really cool metal heels! The front half of the shoe is velvet and the back half is a scale-y faux leather. Love them!

As always there’s been multiple songs I’ve been loving this month, and as usual the favorite song I’m going to pick is the one I’ve most recently been obsessing over. That would be “Let Me go” by Hailee Steinfeld, Alesso, Florida Georgia Line & watt. You know I like catchy songs!

Hopefully my November favorites will be a little more interesting!
