My friends and I might be the last people to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi but this past weekend was the first weekend we were able to all go together since we were also having our Secret Santa party. Keep reading for my thoughts on the movie, but first I want to share this funnel neck sweatshirt I picked up last month. I had intended to wear it in Disney World and then the forecast looked too warm to bring it, so I didn’t. Then, of course it turned really cold while I was in Florida and pretty much all over the country and I wish I had brought it!
So I wore this sweatshirt to the movies on Saturday. It kept me warm at the movies but believe me I had my down coat on immediately after taking these photos as it was only about 10 degrees when I took these photos!

The beanie was a Christmas gift and I’m not sure where it’s from, but it’s cute and kept my head warm while out in the cold!
Okay, so let me briefly get in to the movie. I was really excited to see the movie as a Star Wars fan and I did enjoy it but I wasn’t wowed by it. I’m not upset about it though or disappointed. I chalk it up to typical middle movie syndrome. It’s not as exciting or action packed as the first was or as I suspect the conclusion will be in movie #3. It’s the middle movie so it’s a lot of content and story and less action. You already know nothing will be resolved in this movie as there’s still another one left to do. I was hoping for some big reveals or a twist or something big to make it more exciting, but again I’m not disappointed. Some other thoughts – I still love Poe, Rose was a cool addition, Finn hasn’t changed much in that his first instinct is to think of himself, Rey is still amazing and fearless but her relationship with Kylo Ren is a little weird. I am wondering how it is all going to end though!
