Layering Peridot Necklaces

Peridot is the August birthstone, which is lucky for me since green is my favorite color. 2 years ago my bff gave me a peridot pendant from Kendra Scott for my birthday. Then, last year, she forgot she gave me the pendant the year before and bought it for me again. It was a funny coincidence because I had done the same thing for her son’s birthday for his 2nd and 3rd birthdays when I bought him the same dinosaur outfit. I decided not to return/exchange it because I had this idea to layer the necklaces by clasping them at different lengths.

I layered them last weekend and thought the necklaces completed my outfit. I wore denim drawstring shorts with a white tank top, and pink sheer floral kimono.

I love the way the necklaces look layered! The necklace is so pretty on its own or layered like this. It’s so pretty, but simple at the same time. The necklace, like most Kendra Scott items, comes in many different stone options to choose from so you don’t have to get peridot if you don’t want!
