Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos
I’ve been making bang bang shrimp bowls for a couple years now and they’re so good. I swear I wrote a post on it a long time ago, but I can’t find it! Thinking I had already wrote that post, I tried making bang bang shrimp tacos since I love the bang bang sauce and thought it would be just as good without the rice and in a tortilla. This means I’ll have to do another post with the rice bowls another day!
I use the sauce recipe from this website that I found via Pinterest years ago.
For the sauce you’ll need:
- mayonnaise
- sriracha
- rice vinegar
- sugar
The amount depends on how many shrimp I’m making. I mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl and then refrigerate it while my shrimp defrosts. When my shrimp are defrosted, peeled, and dried, I dredge them in corn starch and then fry them in a pan. When the shrimp are ready, I dunk them in the sauce and coat them. On a warm tortilla I put down some shredded cabbage, then top with shrimp, grape tomatoes, and a drizzle of more sauce.

It’s really so easy and ridiculously tasty!
I basically do the same exact thing with the rice bowls but I put it all over rice and I make more sauce so that the rice gets enough sauce too. I’ll be sure to do a post on that in the future!
