I was in the mood to make scones last week since it’s been a while so I tried a new recipe. I posted a scone recipe few years ago that were also orange and cranberry, but this new recipe I found is a little different and uses heavy cream in addition to the sour cream which I think makes the scones more moist.

- all purpose flour
- granulated sugar
- baking powder
- unsalted butter
- sour cream
- heavy cream
- vanilla extract (I used orange extract instead for a more orange flavor)
- orange zest
- cranberries (I used dried)
Side note: I haven’t started The Secret Service of Tea and Treason yet, but I’m hoping to get to it soon!
The scones were so yummy! I’m going to try with fresh or frozen cranberries next time instead of dried, but these were good too.
